1. Changes & Cancellations Initiated by Velara Travel
Exceptionally, as a result of environmental changes, political situations, schedule adjustments, route changes, or other circumstances beyond our control, we may need to make changes to or cancel an already-confirmed booking. While we make every effort to avoid changes and cancellations, we reserve the right to do so.
Occasionally, we may have to make an "Important Change." An Important Change is one made before your departure that may have a significant effect on your confirmed trip, based on the information you provided at the time of booking.
If we must make an Important Change or cancellation, we will inform you as soon as possible. Where time allows before departure, we will provide you with the following options:
- Accept the adjusted arrangements; or
- Purchase an alternative trip of the same standard as your original booking, if available. The alternative trip is treated as a new purchase, and we will coordinate with the provider to seek compensation or a refund for your existing booking. You are responsible for paying any price difference for such adjustments; or
- Accept the cancellation, in which case you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid to us, provided the airline or service provider permits us to do so.
Please note that the options above do not apply to minor changes.
When airlines or providers make a cancellation or change due to circumstances beyond their control — and whose consequences cannot be avoided even with all due care — we will not provide compensation or assume responsibility for the options listed above. We can raise the matter with the provider on your behalf and request reimbursement; however, the final decision rests with the provider, and we cannot guarantee any refund or compensation.
If we must make changes or cancellations as a result of your failure to meet booking requirements (such as non-payment), we will not be responsible for paying any compensation described above.
2. Changes & Cancellations Initiated by You
Most bookings of vacation packages and airline tickets are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.
- All cancellation requests must be made by phone to ensure proper processing.
- All refunds are handled in a standardized format.
- Once you submit a cancellation request to our customer care team, you will receive an email acknowledging your request. This acknowledgment does not mean you are approved for a refund.
- Based on the applicable fare rules, we must work with the airline or service provider to obtain a waiver and process your refund where the fare rules allow it.
- Cancellation eligibility depends entirely on the fare rules of the booking.
- Approved refunds may take a minimum of 4–6 business weeks to process.
3. Service Fees
Service fees charged by Velara Travel for processing, consultation, and booking assistance are generally non-refundable, unless the cancellation is due to an error on our part.

5. Refund Method
